1. Service description
Lobster Fulfillment is a self-serve B2B software-as-a-service platform for Shopify merchants. You connect your store, select paid orders in the dashboard, and the platform submits them to integrated fulfillment and carrier partners for packing and shipping. Shipment details and fulfillment status are returned to Shopify automatically.
2. Accounts and eligibility
To use our service, you must provide accurate and complete account information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and Shopify API credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must have the legal right to sell and ship the products you submit for fulfillment.
3. Prepaid credits
Platform usage is charged on a per-order basis from a prepaid credit balance. Each fulfilled order deducts one credit from your wallet. Purchased credits never expire and remain on your account until used. There are no monthly fees or recurring subscriptions.
4. Orders and cancellations
You choose which orders to submit for fulfillment. Purchase refunds and cancellation rights are governed by our Refund Policy, Paddle's Refund Policy, and applicable law. Lobster Fulfillment offers a 30-day money-back guarantee from the purchase date.
5. Shipping and delivery
Delivery times shown on our site or in our chats are estimates, not guarantees. Actual transit times depend on the carrier, destination country, customs processing, and other factors outside our control. You are responsible for informing your end customers about customs duties, import taxes, and any restrictions that apply in their country.
6. Prohibited and restricted goods
You may not submit orders for illegal, counterfeit, dangerous, or restricted items, including anything prohibited by Shopify's terms, carrier policies, or import regulations in the destination country. We reserve the right to refuse any order or suspend any account if we believe prohibited goods are involved.
7. Client responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate product descriptions, weights, dimensions, shipping addresses, and customer information. You must comply with Shopify's terms of service, applicable laws, and the terms of any payment provider you use. You are also responsible for customer service, refunds, and disputes with your end customers.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lobster Fulfillment's total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to the service is limited to the total amount you paid us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, carrier delays, customs seizures, or delivery failures caused by third parties.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CARAVELA VENTURES LLC and its members, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your breach of these terms, your products, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the relationship at any time. If you terminate with unused prepaid credits, they will be handled in accordance with our Refund Policy. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for prohibited goods, fraudulent activity, or repeated violations of these terms.
11. Payment processing
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Paddle's applicable buyer terms and refund policy presented during checkout.
12. Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or the service shall be resolved in the courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the revised terms.
